How to work with the Ouija Board/ Spirit Board?

Are you still wondering if you should go for the Ouija Board or not? Or you have bought your board and are still thinking if it was the right choice? Or are you still in an in-between place of whether to practice with it or not?

Whichever state you are in right now, you must know that the board, like any other Divination tool, comes with its pros and cons. However, they aren't as scary as people make them out to be.

Things to remember before beginning:

-Always be respectful towards the art.

-Also be respectful towards the energies and the spirits that you invite over and don't get into any profanity or challenges.

-Don't ask for treasure maps or make any deals with the spirits

Prepare the environment:

Ingredients:

Candle/ Candles

Incense sticks/ Frankincense and Myrrh/ Sage

Ouija Board

Secluded place

Method:

Sit in the secluded place with everything before you. Make sure there's no disturbance during the course of this session. Ideally this should be done with three people working on it together. But if not, you can do this alone.

Light the candle and the incenses.

Let go of any thoughts in your mind and try to keep an open mind. Take a deep breath, and put your finger lightly upon the planchette.

Now chant:

Any energy (or name of the spirit or entity that you want to call) around me,

In good faith I call upon thee,

I have some questions I need answers for,

This is a safe place for both you and me.

Keep chanting till you start sensing a movement in the planchette. Let it take its course with answering. Start with a Hello and end with a Good Bye after thanking the Spirit and the Board for the answers you have received.

Tip:

It is always advisable that you keep a notepad or a recorder handy so that you can record the messages that come across.

You must know that Spirits often talk in riddles or symbols. So recording the answers and deciphering them after the session would be helpful for you to get the true picture and the true message that came for you.

After the session is over, remember to clean up the space, and keep your Ouija Board safely away. Also take a saltwater bath after the session is over.
